Sometimes accessibility can be more difficult in town centre markets or wonderlands, so we've listed the five most accessible ones to visit this Christmas.
Hyde Park Winter Wonderland
From the 17th November 2017 to 1st January 2018, Hyde Park in London transforms into a magnificent Winter Wonderland.
Visitors will enjoy an extravaganza of shows, street food stalls, live music, festive bars and over 100 spectacular rides. This year, Winter Wonderland also includes a deep-sea adventure in the Magical Ice Kingdom as well as circus shows and world-class ice dancing in Cinderella on Ice. If you'd like to enjoy the attractions, all you need to do is go to Hyde Park's Winter Wonderland website and pre-book before your visit.
Hyde Park is located at the centre of the Capital and covers 350 acres of land, giving you plenty of room to look around, with a huge amount of delicious food vendors!
Accessibility at Hyde Park Winter Wonderland is fantastic. If you have any access requirements when booking tickets, all you need to do is let the team know in advance to help them provide the correct facilities for you. If you have a Personal Assistant, they will have free entry to the site once an application form has been filled in.
Wheelchairs can also be pre-booked for all attractions, although there may be a limited number for some of them including Bar Ice and the Ice Rink. Disabled toilets and parking are available at this venue.

Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market
Running from the 16th November 2017 all the way to Christmas Eve 2017, Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market is hugely popular with both residents and tourists.
This market is a real Christmas treat as it is the largest authentic German Christmas market outside of Germany or Austria. With over 120 stalls, you are certain to find something you'll like, whether that's traditional delicious food or the perfect gift for a loved one.
Located in the bustling Victoria Square, Birmingham's Frankfurt Christmas Market is a fantastic place to meet up with friends and family during the festive period. Every weekend, you can also enjoy a variety of different performances on the Mainstage, from Soul Legend to the University of Warwick Flute Choir.
The whole market is easily accessible for wheelchair users as there are routes around it that avoid any steps. Registered Assistance Dogs are more than welcome, but on Friday and Saturday evenings the market can become busy, so visitors may want to visit earlier in the day or alternative evenings.
There are plenty of accessible car parks in the city centre, although Birmingham City Council car park on Navigation Street does not have a lift and may be unsuitable for some.
For accessible toilets, there are facilities for disabled people located on site in the area adjacent to the stage on Victoria Square.

Cardiff Christmas Markets
The fantastic Cardiff Christmas Market returns to the street of the Welsh Capital on St John Street, Working Street, Hills Street, Trinity Street and the Hayes from 9th November to 23rd December.
If you're looking to visit a completely unique Christmas Market this year, Cardiff will not disappoint. With stalls ranging from glasswork to lotions and potions, you will find gifts at Cardiff's Christmas Market that are not available on the high street - a real treat for your loved ones!
Running for 20 years, the Cardiff Christmas Markets is located in the centre of the city and offers over 200 different stalls to choose from, including individual food and drink producers to add to the wonderful vibrant atmosphere.
Cardiff is also unique in the sense that city offers a free City Centre Mobility Service, which carries disabled and elderly passengers around the pedestrianised zones. There is also a centre where visitors can rent out a variety of mobility aids.
Plenty of Blue Badge parking can be found near the Christmas Market site on Park Place, Gorsedd Gardens Road, Greyfriars Road and Windsor Place. Accessible toilets can be found on Frederick Street and in the Capitol Shopping Centre.

Belfast Christmas Markets
Located on the Belfast City Hall grounds on Donegall Square North, the brilliant Belfast Christmas Market returns from 18th November to 23rd December 2017.
Belfast promises even more variety for 2017 at their Christmas Market with 20 traders offering an exceptional range of high quality goods from hand-crafted chalets.
There is also a very spacious eating area where visitors can sit and enjoy a wide variety of delicious delicacies from chocolatey treats to traditional German sausages.
For the children, Belfast also offers a Santa's Grotto experience where they will receive a present and a chat with the man himself. Alongside that, there is a post box in the grounds of the Belfast Market where Santa's letters can be sent and if posted before 19th December, a reply will be received!
Belfast run a very unique service called the Buddy Scheme tours, where people who may have accessibility issues are accompanied around the market. These tours operate during quieter times from Monday to Thursday 11am-2pm.
