Compact variants are designed to draw interest away from smaller vans such as the Ford Transit Connect and offer 2,162mm of load length. Medium examples are around the average for the class, offering 2,512mm of load length, and long variants offer the most, with 2,862mm.
In terms of payloads, compact models are capped at 1,000kg, while medium and long models have a maximum of 1,400kg depending on exact specification. Electric models also have a maximum payload of 1,226kg, again depending on which battery you go for.
On top of impressive carrying capabilities, the Proace is well-equipped with a variety of tools to ensure life is made easier, including 50/50 split doors, a Smart cargo area with load-through bulkhead, and eight floor anchor points.
Interior, Technology, and Safety
Vans are designed to do a job and often feature uninspiring cabins, but not in the Proace's case. With plenty of tech and a comfortable interior for your workforce, daily duties while onboard are made that bit easier. Admittedly, it's not the most refined out there, but it's very well-built and easy to get on with.
Entry-level models do come with a fair amount of kit, but if you fancy getting your hands on the latest technology, you'll want to find a higher-spec model as they offer the likes of Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a head-up display and a larger multimedia system to make changing songs or adjusting settings easier.
