Citroën has streamlined its passenger car range with the launch of three new trim levels across its entire line-up, except for the ë-Berlingo and ë-SpaceTourer models.
The range now consists of You!, Plus and Max specifications, which the French carmaker says reflects new consumer trends.
As an example, the C4 and C4 X You! trim vehicles are priced from £19,465 for both models and feature Citroën’s Advanced Comfort Suspension, Advanced Comfort Seats and a high level of connectivity with a 10-inch touchscreen offering DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity and wireless smartphone mirroring with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
The You! trim level also offers safety systems such as active safety brake and lane departure warning, as well as driving assistance systems including cruise control, speed sign recognition and recommendation, and rear parking sensors.
Plus trim versions come with a rearview camera and connected navigation with the C4 and C4 X priced from £23,530 and £24,935 respectively.
They also feature voice control, automatic headlights and windscreen wipers, a 10-inch touchscreen and Citroën’s Connect Box emergency and assistance system.
In Plus trim, C4 and C4 X drivers also have a one-year trial subscription to Citroën Connect PLUS services, including real-time traffic and speed camera alerts.
Top range Max specification vehicles have keyless access and adaptive cruise control on automatic and electric versions with prices running from £25,420 for the C4 and £26,820 for the C4 X Max. The cars also feature dark-tinted rear windows and 18-inch alloy wheels.
Specific additional collections will continue to be offered, such as the electrified e-Series collection for the ë-C4 and ë-C4 X, which was launched in June of this year.
With prices starting at £36,295 for both models, the top-of-the-range ë-Series trim offers even more features and enhanced levels of style and technology, such as a bi-tone roof, a heated steering wheel, and wireless induction smartphone charging, as well as heated front seats and an upgraded Citroën HiFi system.
The ë-Series versions also come with Citroën’s Dark Chrome Colour Pack, applied to the front bumper inserts and the Airbump panels giving each model a distinctive look, with the ‘ë-Series’ monogram providing a signature touch.
Citroën says the new range structure is designed to improve the purchasing experience for its customers while reducing costs and delivery times, and is in line with its plans to move towards a fairer and more balanced pricing policy.
Prices for the new range now run from £13,995 to £22,055 for the Citroën C3, £17,470 to £23,455 for the C3 Aircross, £19,495 to £28,450 for the C4 and C4 X, £32,195 to £37,195 for the ë-C4 and ë-C4 X, £23,670 to £38,375 for the C5 Aircross and £28,695 to £40,210 for the C5 X.
Prices correct as of 04/10/2023 and are subject to change.
