The ë-SpaceTourer is Citroën's answer to the problem of lack of space. Design and Practicality
Design-wise the ë-SpaceTourer has pleasingly boxy proportions and Citroën make no real attempt to disguise the goal of being the most practical family car possible.
There aren't many passenger vehicles that can trump the ë-SpaceTourer on interior roominess or storage spaces. There are two bodystyles to choose from; M and XL. Both can seat up to eight people, but the XL is longer, offering up to 4,554 litres of space compared to the M's 3,397 litres. If you need extended room and seating for up to nine occupants, you'll want the Business version.
Versatility is another strong suit of the ë-SpaceTourer as tall passengers can slide the rear seats back to grant them more legroom, whilst adventurous individuals can fold down the seats to create an exceptionally spacious area for equipment such as surfboards or canoes.
Technology and Safety
Citroën certainly haven't skimped on the equipment list for the ë-SpaceTourer, with standard tech features including cruise control and a colour touchscreen media system. You're also able to connect your smartphone to the car through Apple Car Play/Android Auto, or by using the My Citroën app.
One of the most impressive features is the option of a 180-degree colour reversing camera that works with parking sensors to make manoeuvres as easy as possible.
Safety equipment is comprehensive, and includes:

Engines and Performance
Equipped with a 50kWh battery and an electric motor, the ë-SpaceTourer boasts an all-electric range of up to 143 miles - according to WLTP testing - making this multi-passenger vehicle the ideal companion for both short, urban journeys and long-distance trips.
As the ë-SpaceTourer is 100 percent electric, it produces zero CO2 emissions from its tailpipe and delivers 100kW of power, which is equivalent to 134bhp.
Drivers can choose between three different driving modes:
- Eco: Optimises energy consumption by limiting torque and power
- Normal: Most suited for day-to-day driving
- Power: Maximises vehicle performance

Introducing the all-electric Citroën ë-Berlingo
Charging the ë-SpaceTourer's battery can be done at home or at a public charging station.
When using a 100kW rapid charging station, the electric vehicle (EV) can be charged to 80 percent capacity in just 30 minutes.
If charging at home, a full charge will take around seven and a half hours using a 7.4kW wallbox. However, if you have access to an 11kW wallbox, charging times can be dramatically reduced to just under five hours for a full charge.
The electric range can also be extended thanks to regenerative braking technology, which harvests energy during braking or deceleration.
