Compared to more traditional city cars, the Ignis offers an impressive amount of room. It can seat five, but it may be a bit of a squeeze; four adults will be able to enjoy what it has to offer in comfort, which is highly impressive for its dinky dimensions.

The boot is also well-sized, offering 260 litres of space in its standard setup, increasing to a mightily impressive 1,100 litres when folding the rear bench flat. The rear seats can slide forward and backwards individually on higher specifications, offering the highest level of versatility. If you do opt for the all-wheel drive variant, the boot is smaller, so keep that in mind if you need the space.
