Used Nissan Qashqai For Sale
The third generation Nissan Qashqai, available from 2021 has pushed the envelope again for the popular SUV, building on the success of the first and second generations of this textbook model.
It's had no trouble being at the top of bestseller lists in the UK, and the third generation aims to ensure its dominant reign in the top spots. It's more handsome, more polished, and generally more impressive as a total package.
On the face of it, the third generation Qashqai has lots of positives, which include:

Engines and Driving Experience
This third generation of the Nissan Qashqai includes petrol engines only, with mild and full hybrid options. There are no diesels like in previous generations and no PHEV versions - which many rivals offer.
Despite this, there are still plenty of efficient engines on offer to please the Qashqai's admirers. There's a 138bhp 1.3-litre, which is the entry-level point. It takes a smidge under 10 seconds to go from 0 to 62mph and can return circa 44mpg.
There's a more powerful 155bhp version of the above, which drops the 0 to 62mph time to under 9 seconds whilst returning around the same 44mpg.
If you want the most power from your third generation Qashqai, you'll want the 1.5-litre hybrid with 187bhp, dropping the 0 to 62mph time to 7.6 seconds, which will make it feel far more punchy and plenty quick enough for a family SUV of this nature. You'll see around 53mpg too.
As with many cars, Qashqai models with smaller wheels make the drive that little bit more supple, whilst bigger wheels firm things up, but do look better.
Practicality and Running Costs
Being one of the best-selling SUVs, the Qashqai offers plenty of practicality. There's plenty of space in the cabin, so driver and passengers should have no trouble getting comfortable.
As for boot space, there's a large 504 litres on offer, which is 50 litres more than the second generation it replaces. You can get up to 935 litres when folding the rear seats too.
As for running costs, with good economy the Qashqai shouldn't scare your wallet too much. There are also plenty of servicing options which again are competitive and can be completed at your preferred Evans Halshaw retailer.
Interior, Technology and Safety
The interior vibe of the Qashqai has of course improved with its evolution. However, to get things like a digital instrument cluster and neater infotainment set up, you need to go for the higher trim models such as the N-Connecta.
Of course, as is the case with many car models, the more you spend and the higher the trim you go for, the more style, tech and features you're going to get.
Other than that, the Qashqai's interior is ideal for families and provides plenty of choice, so you can tailor your used Qashqai search pretty simply.
