Although it was never deemed an official successor, the Crossland X feels like an up-to-date version of the now-discontinued Mokka X, which was a popular choice among UK motorists. Despite being a small SUV, the Crossland X has whiffs of a people-carrier about it, which is mainly down to the high roofline and large interior space. Unsurprisingly, head and knee room are very good because of this, meaning it should be easy for grown adults to get comfortable in the rear.
At 410 litres, the Crossland X's boot offers plenty of space and can fit a pushchair with relative ease. It's smaller than what's on offer in the Peugeot 2008 (434 litres) and Renault Captur (up to 422 litres), but the minimal lip and well-shaped loading bay make up for this.
