Introducing the new Vauxhall Mokka
The Vauxhall Mokka has been a popular staple of the Vauxhall range, since its introduction in 2012. This facelifted version is a further enhancement of the second generation Mokka, which came along in 2021.
This latest 2025 version has been updated and enhanced, without disrupting the second generations unmistakable style, featuring a more modern design with a crisper vibe on the outside, staying true to the compact and stylish SUV blueprint, whilst a brand-new, customisable infotainment system with various enhancements takes centre stage on the inside.
Available as a modern hybrid and fully-electric model too, the new Mokka is future ready.
Design and Practicality
Bold and clear lines, with the now familiar Vauxhall Vizor front end, the new 2025 Mokka picks up from its predecessors foundations. After all, the Mokka was the first Vauxhall to feature the new Vauxhall Vizor design signature design language.
This all new model has been subtly enhanced, rather than completely overhauled, with the sharper, more modern LED lights which now feature three 'lighting blocks' for a more focused loo.
Gloss black details complete the tweaked style, whilst new special aero wheels (available on Mokka Electric) and designed front bumper complement the fine enhancements.
Practicality is as impressive as ever for a compact SUV with decent seating and a 310-litre to 350-litre load space, depending on exact model chosen.
Technology and Safety
The interior sports the biggest enhancement to the 2025 Mokka with a now standard 10-inch digital driver display, complemented by a large, fully-digital infotainment screen.
This can be voice operated and customised to your preference with widgets, similar to that of a smartphone. Wireless smartphone connectivity helps you stay connected too, with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto coming as standard.
And, if you don't want to use smartphone navigation, there's the option of Connected Navigation, which is a system that learns thanks to ChatGPT, to help with suggested destinations and routes that you may take regularly.
The myVauxhall app can also be used to make the most of the new Mokka's overall ownership experience, whilst cutting-edge safety tech like autonomous emergency braking, park pilot and rearview camera enhance peace of mind whilst driving, adding to the Mokka's safety aspect.
Engines and Performance
Engines form part of a more detoxed offering from Vauxhall, with the new 2025 Mokka coming with an efficient petrol engine, along with two electrified drivetrains, comprising three trim levels - without the need for further packs.
The sole 1.2-litre engine comes with either 134bhp, and a six-speed manual, or with 128bhp from an 8-speed automatic transmission. Both complete 0 to 62mph in 8.9 seconds.
New Mokka hybrid features the 1.2-litre engine with 136bhp, plus a 28bhp electric motor, enhancing performance and economy with 0 to 62mph dropping to 8.2 seconds, whilst offering up to 58.8mpg.
Finally, the Mokka Electric has a 154bhp electric motor and 54kWh battery, with 0 to 62mph taking nine seconds, with up to 250 miles of range available.
Charging
When charging the Mokka Electric, the 54kWh battery can be charged from zero to eighty perfect in half an hour, thanks to a 100kW maximum charging speed.
Vauxhall is also giving Mokka Electric buyer's credit of £500 towards an Ohme Pro home wallbox charger. Alternatively, they can also select to receive £500 worth of free charging credits, for use at public chargers at Tesco supermarkets, or via the Octopus Electroverse network.
