Design and Practicality
Don't let the elegant and sophisticated exterior fool you, the All-New Arkana has a strikingly bold design, but the practicality of this vehicle hasn't been compromised. 480 litres of boot space is at your disposal, which can be extended to 1,263 litres, and it benefits from a raised floor and rear seats that can be folded entirely flat.
Expect superior design features if you opt for the premium R.S. Line model, which adds various enhancements derived from Renault Sport's DNA.
Rest assured though, that Renault haven't skimped out on the entry-model as the entire Arkana range boasts All-LED headlights, quality chrome interior details and a leather-finished gear lever. Moving up the models sees the introduction of a leather steering wheel as well as other sportier exterior and interior design elements.
Interior, Technology, and Safety
The Arkana is well-equipped in terms of modern technology and safety equipment, with three Arkana models specifications available: evolution, techno, and esprit Alpine. Depending on which Arkana model you choose, you get a digital dashboard features either a 4.2, 7, or 10-inch Driver Information Display along with either a 7-inch horizontal or 9.3-inch portrait Easy Link touchscreen infotainment display.

Powertrain and Performance
The Arkana is currently only available as a full hybrid (HEV) and an automatic gearbox.
A 1.6-litre petrol engine runs alongside hybrid technology to produce a combined 138bhp, which gives you plenty of flexibility, whether it's driving around town or on the open road.
Despite there not being a diesel option, you shouldn't be put off by the sole petrol engine, since the HEV technology allows it to achieve up to 58.9mpg on a combined cycle, and even more on a motorway run.
One benefit of the hybrid set up is that it's self-charging, so there's no need to worry about having to plug the car in. It also allows the car to run on battery power alone when travelling at lower speeds.
Although there's no option for a manual gearbox, the automatic is smooth and quiet, making it a joy to use in everyday driving.
