The MG3 name has been around since 2008, with the brand-new second generation model coming to the UK in 2013.
Here we have the second facelift, which came along in 2018, offering a sharper, more polished MG3 that's quite simply a great value hatchback.

Standard models are generous too, with the 'Excite' model offering an 8-inch colour infotainment touchscreen, along with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Satellite navigation, cruise control and a 6-speaker audio system are available in the 'Exclusive Nav' trim, along with a rear parking camera which all enhance the vibe of the car, along with heightening safety even further.
Engines and Performance
There are no headaches of what engine to pick with the MG3, as the car retains its simplistic nature. That's because there's one sole engine choice when looking at the MG3, and that happens to be a compact and naturally-aspirated 1.5 VTI-tech 5-speed Manual, which offers 105bhp.
Due to the MG3 being a humble little supermini, and the fact the engine isn't huge mean its good news for the car's economy, with the MG3 able to return 43mpg.
Performance matches the cars easy going nature and other cars in this popular segment, with 0 to 62mpg happening in a smidge over 10 seconds.
