Design and Practicality
The B10 features fluid lines throughout its frame, nodding to Leapmotor's usual DNA, giving it a smart, futuristic look, along with details like slimline LED lighting, flush-fitting door handles, and a powered tailgate. It's also slightly larger than its rivals, offering a bit more interior space than those in the same class.
Inside, it's refined and minimalist, with the panoramic roof adding a light, airy feel and faux-leather throughout, delivering a clean feel. Up front is comfortable, with a good driving position, a six-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, and a four-way adjustable seat for the front passenger. The rear has ample space too, with generous leg room and head room, and a flat floor for middle passengers, making the B10 super comfortable on longer journeys for all.
The B10 Hybrid EV offers a competent 330 litres of boot space, while the all-electric B10 variant has slightly more with 430 litres plus a 25-litre front boot. The rear seats offer a 60/40 split seating configuration for longer items too, while folding them completely flat gives you up to 1,700 litres of boot space (dependent on variant), which is ideal for weekend adventures and longer tours.
Technology and Safety
The driver gets an 8.8-inch driver's display, while a large 14.6-inch touchscreen sits centrally and runs the LEAP OS 4.0 Plus system, controlling many of the B10's systems. This includes Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a Smart Voice Assistant, and online navigation with real-time traffic and charging-station locations. It also has a 12-speaker audio system for immersive music and podcast listening.
The Leapmotor App offers various functions for ease of use, allowing you to unlock/lock the B10 from your phone, control the air conditioning, heat the steering wheel, and access lots of other useful features.
For peace of mind, it has a five-star Euro NCAP rating and a wide range of ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) for enhanced safety. This includes:

Powertrains and Performance
The B10 lands with a pair of powertrain options to suit differing lifestyles and day-to-day driving.
The Leapmotor B10 Hybrid EV is what's classed as a range extender. This is essentially a plug-in hybrid that's got maximum range at the forefront of its mind, giving you 50 miles of all-electric range with a combined total of around 559 Miles. Power output stands at a total of 215bhp, enabling it to sprint from 0 to 62mph in 7.5 seconds.
The all-electric version features the same single electric motor powered by a larger 67.1kWh battery, delivering the same amount of power as its twin but with a slightly slower 0 to 62mph time of 8 seconds. The range is generous as well, delivering up to 270 miles of all-electric range.
Both are rear-wheel drive and handle well in various environments, delivering a comfortable, quiet ride. The all-electric is technically better balanced out of the pair, thanks to its 50:50 weight distribution, but the driving experience across both is almost identical.
Charging
Neither variant of the B10 will leave you waiting around at a recharging station for long.
The B10 Hybrid EV's battery can be recharged from 30 percent to 80 percent capacity in 30 minutes, allowing for quick stops on long journeys. The same charge at a home wallbox takes around 1 hour and 45 minutes. Of course, if you run out of charge whilst out-and-about, the traditional engine will take over, so range anxiety is essentially non-existent.
Despite having a bigger battery, the B10 all-electric offers rapid charging capabilities, powering up from 30 percent to 80 percent in just 20 minutes when using a ultra-fast public charger, while a full, at-home charge will take between 7 and 10 hours dependant on your home's wallbox.
Both versions can be integrated with the Leapmotor app. It comes with a charging management function which gives you such features as scheduled charging, charging status, state of charge (SoC) target setup, and remote charging/decharging control. It also has a battery pre-heating function that prepares the battery for cold-weather performance and faster charging.
