Although it didn't sell as well as its smaller sibling, the Kia Sportage, this generation of Sorento was still a popular choice among larger families during its run between 2015 and 2020. The great thing about the Sorento is that it offers a premium finish inside, but doesn't have the premium price tag to match.

Practicality and Running Costs
Nobody could accuse of the Sorento of being impractical, because there's acres of space inside and a massive boot. With three rows of seats, you'll be able to transport seven people in comfort, although the third row is probably best reserved for children.
The great thing about the third row of seats is that they fold away to create a massive 605-litre boot. And if you need even more space for things like tip runs, then the second row of seats will fold down to reveal a 1,662-litre van-like space.
Manual cars can tow 2,500kg, making it great for caravans or trailers. Don't worry though, the automatic can still haul 2,000kg with little issue.
