New Updates for the All-Electric Peugeot e-Traveller

A revamped version of Peugeot’s all-electric e-Traveller has been announced, with the new people mover now having a range of up to 217 miles.

That’s a significant improvement over the 143-mile distance the previous model could travel on a full charge.

The benefits come from a bigger battery rated at 75kWh which powers a 134bhp motor.

Recharging up to 80 percent capacity takes 45 minutes from a fast charger.

It remains available in two body lengths of 4.89 metres and 5.33 metres, but updates to the interior see it getting a new 10-inch display screen and up to four USB sockets.

Seating capacity ranges between five and nine seats and there is also a VIP option that has four seats with leather upholstery as well as a panoramic glass roof.

Boot volume ranges from 1,500 litres up to 4,900 litres depending on seating configuration.

The new model also comes with Peugeot’s latest design, which sees a fresh look to the front bumper, a new-look grille and LED headlights.

Prices are still to be announced but can be expected to show a slight increase over the £42,785 of the current model.
