Introducing the Peugeot e-Rifter
Robust, yet sleek, the Peugeot e-Rifter is an all-electric leisure activity vehicle that's prepared for everyday adventures whilst providing comfort and the latest modern technology. Available in two lengths, comfortably seating either five or seven people, the Rifter features strong SUV styling.

Design and Practicality
It's easy to think that the e-Rifter is simply a converted van with seven seats chucked in, but that's not reality. Inside, you get a raft of quality materials that feel robust and well bolted together. You also benefit from Peugeot's latest interior design language, which makes for a very pleasant place to spend time.
The e-Rifter is the ultimate in everyday convenience and practicality. The ability to seat seven in comfort may be common among large SUVs, but very few match the e-Rifter for head and legroom; there's acres of space for everyone. Sliding doors on either side of the vehicle are the metaphorical cherry on top of the cake.
Boot space ranges from a massive 775 litres of boot space with the seats up in Standard length models, to a whopping 4,000 litres with the seats folded down in Long variants. The boot can be easily accessed via the large boxy opening and low loading sill.
Technology and Safety
Peugeot have ensured the e-Rifter comes well-equipped no matter which specification you go for. The first thing you'll notice once you've climbed inside is Peugeot i-Cockpit®. This distinctive layout features a compact steering wheel for agility, a contemporary head-up display and a large 8-inch colour touchscreen in the central dash.
The infotainment system is very user-friendly and responds swiftly to your inputs, making navigation easy when you're on the move. Top-of-the-range models also come with additional gadgets such as keyless entry and automatic climate control, increasing overall appeal.

Engines and Performance
The e-Rifter has an official range of up to 171 miles according to WLTP testing. This is much higher than most daily mileage needs, meaning you can recharge overnight like you do your smartphone and be good-to-go the next day.
A 134bhp electric motor means 0 to 62mph takes 11.2 seconds, which is in-line with combustion-powered rivals. It's at home on the motorway too, thanks to a top speed of 83mph, allowing you to comfortably overtake slower moving traffic.
Out on the road the e-Rifter makes for an enjoyable driving experience, with the near-silent electric motor resulting in great refinement. Drivers can choose between Eco, Normal and Power modes depending on whether they want to optimise range or performance at any given time.
Charging
Equipped with a 50kWh battery, the e-Rifter can be charged at home or at public rapid charging stations.
The standard charger is a 7.4kW single-phase unit and can fully juice the e-Rifter to 100 percent charge in seven and a half hours when connected to a home wall box. Upgrade to the 11kW three-phase charger to reduce this time to just five hours.
Out and about, the 100kW rapid charging capability of the e-Rifter allows you to complete an 80 percent charge in just 30 minutes at a 100kWh rapid charger, which are most commonly found at motorway service stations.
