Design and Practicality
Designed for the city driver, the Leapmotor B03 arrives with a contemporary look, thanks to its rounded aesthetics and smooth lines. Its aerodynamic front profile features LED lights that sit flush with the body, while flowing contours soften the traditional hatchback design.
Inside, there is enough space for five adults, with three able to sit comfortably across the back. The B03 also features several clever space-saving ideas, including the 'LeapFlex' rear seat base, which flips up to create space behind the front seats for longer items. Meanwhile, the front passenger seat folds flat to provide additional room.
The B03 offers a decent 405-litre boot, plus an extra 90 litres of underfloor storage for smaller items. Fold the rear seats flat, and the available space increases to a practical 1,305 litres, accommodating larger, bulkier items. Technology and Safety
The cabin features soft-touch materials, including sustainable, premium OEKO-TEX®-certified eco-leather, creating a modern, executive-inspired interior. A large, centrally mounted 14.6-inch infotainment screen, featuring Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, is paired with an 8.8-inch driver display.
Other features include voice control, multi-colour ambient lighting, a six-way electrically adjustable driver's seat, heated front seats and a heated steering wheel. The 53kWh battery delivers a WLTP range of 242 miles, while the additional heat pump helps maintain that range in colder weather.
To match your driving style and environment, it offers three dedicated driver modes: Comfort, Standard, and Sport. Comfort is for city life, Sport for dynamic acceleration and more expressive driving, and Standard balances the two for everyday use.
On the road, the B03 sits low and excels in the city thanks to its tight turning circle and 360-degree parking camera, while offering confident motorway handling with little wind noise at higher speeds.
Charging
When you need a top-up, the Leapmotor B03's battery can charge rapidly from 10 to 80 percent in just 21 minutes, or from 30 to 80 percent in 16 minutes, ideal for short stops on long trips. For home wallbox charging, the B03 can go from 0 to 100 percent in just over 7 hours or overnight, getting it ready for the next day's travels.
The Leapmotor app also supports the B03 by monitoring the charging system, pre-heating the battery, and scheduling charging. It also tracks energy consumption and recent trip data to help you drive more efficiently.
And for those who like to spend weekends away, the B03's EV architecture also supports V2L (Vehicle-To-Load) charging and powering. This system lets you charge a laptop or smartphone, or even power appliances, which is useful for camping or working with power tools away from a socket.
