Introducing the new Citroën C4 X
Available in early 2025, the new Citroën C4 X has been further enhanced, offering a number of key upgrades that prioritise comfort and space, along with a refreshed design and shaper overall design.
Technology has also been upgraded, with some slick and impressive driving assistance features coming on the new Citroën C4 X, ensuring driving is much easier, whilst also being safer, too.

Design and Practicality
Unveiled at the Paris Motor Show alongside other upcoming Citroën models, the new C4 X complements the evolution of the regular C4, and of course, the outgoing C4 X, too.
The C4 X's new front end adopts the revised Citroën identity, expressing modernity, whilst the rear of the car is more balanced and fluid.
Practicality, of course, has also been upgraded with fine rear knee room, putting amongst the best in class, whilst there is also ample amounts of room for three rear passengers to get comfortable with ease.
An extra large 510-litre boot ensures you will have plenty of luggage space too.
Technology and Safety
As expected, technology and safety have been enhanced significantly too, when it comes to the new Citroën C4 X.
A fully HD digital instrument cluster is now standard, and is complemented further by a large, also HD central infotainment touchscreen.
Staying to true to heritage, like many Citroën models of the past with their trick comfort and suspension tweeks, the C4 X follows suit with Citroën Advanced Comfort® seats and Citroën Advanced Comfort® suspension, ensuring the optimum comfort levels are met via the latest technology on offer.
The Safety aspects of the new Citroën C4 are also impressive, with up to 20 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems available, ensuring peace of mind when behind the wheel of the new C4 X. The features include:
- Reversing camera with Top Rear Vision
- Vision 360 - panoramic view around the vehicle
- Adaptive Cruise Control
- Collision Risk Alert
Engines and Performance
The new Citroën C4 X features hybrid and electric powertrains and mirrors its C4 sibling. Therefore, there's a 'Hybrid 136', 'Hybrid 100' and ë-C4 X (fully-electric option).
Both hybrid models feature a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder engine, with 136bhp or 100bhp.
No performance or economy data has been unveiled as yet, but you can expect decent economy, with the usual benefits a hybrid powertrain gives.
There's also going to be an ë-C4 X version, which is fully-electric and features a 54kWh battery and a 154bhp motor. This means that the electric version is the most powerful of the three variants on offer, along with offering up to 223 miles of total range.
Charging
Rapid charging, along with regular charging, will be available with the new Citroën C4 X.
The new C4 will be able to recover 80 percent of its charge in less than 30 minutes, thanks to it being equipped with a 100kW rapid charge feature.
