Introducing the New Vauxhall Crossland
Head-turning style, bold alloy wheel designs and a new aggressive, yet stylish stance. The New Vauxhall Crossland is a compact SUV that is anything but compact on the inside, with a roomy interior that is a comfy haven for all on-board.
The New Crossland follows in the footsteps of the New Mokka, featuring Vauxhall's new bold design language, which includes the new, futuristic Vauxhall Vizor.
Punchy petrol engines and powerful diesel engines are available across the model range, all of which incorporate stop start technology and are incredibly efficient.
Design and Practicality
The bold and stylish design is sure to impress you, however, the practicality will impress you even more! There really isn't much room for improvement but there is plenty of room for the family!
Remarkably versatile, the New Crossland contains rear sliding seats so you can configure your seats to your preference. The spacious interior is also home to ample loadspace and can fit large items in with ease. Think pushchairs and flat-pack furniture, the whole family will be able to travel comfortably along with their required luggage.
Despite all this interior space, this SUV is still compact on the outside; making it simple to park or manoeuvre around the city or country lanes.
Technology and Safety
In synergy with the modern aesthetics, the technology is up to scratch too. If you have a smartphone this can link seamlessly using Apple CarPlay™ and Android Auto™. Wireless charging is also available with some specifications, keeping the cabin tidy and free from excess wires.
A 7-inch colour touchscreen is standard, although the higher models see the introduction of an 8-inch colour touchscreen with satellite navigation.
Plenty of safety features are available, even on the entry-level specification. Safety features include:
- Forward Collision Alert with Automatic Emergency Braking and Pedestrian Recognition
- Driver Drowsiness Alert
- Panoramic Rear View Camera with a 180-degree view
- Lane Departure Warning
- Speed Sign Recognition
Engines and Performance
The New Vauxhall Crossland is powered by a range of advanced and efficient engines with four punchy petrol engines on offer, as well as two efficient diesel models.
The 1.2-litre petrol engine is available with two power outputs; a naturally aspirated 82bhp or a turbocharged 128bhp unit.
You also have the choice of two power outputs if you opt for the 1.5-litre turbo diesel engine, depending on which transmission you prefer. Accompanied with a 6-speed manual gearbox delivers a power output of 108bhp, whereas paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission produces 118 bhp.
The petrol engines will return 56.5 to 61.4 mpg on a combined cycle, whilst the diesel engines' fuel consumption ranges from 72.4 to 80.7 mpg on a combined cycle.
