Introducing the new Vauxhall Frontera

Vauxhall Frontera Orange Detail

A new addition to the Vauxhall SUV range, the new Frontera acts as a spacious and fun fully electric SUV, which will also be available with 48-volt hybrid powertrains too.

The Frontera has been reimagined for 2024 onwards, after the original Frontera SUV ran from 1991 to 2004.

It's now back, sporting modern bold Vauxhall design, and a decluttered interior vibe. The new Frontera SUV is set to be another popular model in the Vauxhall range.

Design and Practicality

First impressions count, and the new Frontera impresses with its rugged design, sporting Vauxhall's new bold pure design philosophy.

The black vizor front end gives this SUV a typically smart identity, which matches the rest of the latest models in the Vauxhall range.

LED headlamps, striking alloy wheels and a robust stance help the new Frontera stand out for all the right reasons too.

New Frontera is not just a pretty face either, as practicality is also excellent, thanks to 460 litres of boot space, which can increase to 1,600 litres with the rear seats folded, whilst a 60:40 spilt of the rear bench provides that little extra versatility.

Technology and Safety

Vauxhall Frontera Interior

The modern look of the new Frontera's exterior is carried on within the interior too, showcasing a decent standard of cutting-edge technology.

There's a pair of large 10-inch digital displays, one for the infotainment and one for the instrument display, which translate all the key information you need, along with a detoxed user experience to ensure slick and simplistic usage.

Safety technology will also fall in line with other modern Vauxhall models, as there's no information on hand just yet, but being a practical SUV fit for the family, there's no doubt Vauxhall will load it with impressive safety tech.

Engines and Performance

There's no official word on the exact details of engines, however the new Frontera will come as a fully-electric SUV, or as a 48-volt hybrid.

Being a Vauxhall, they promise to be efficient and appeal to those wanting peppy performance that is also fun to drive and that will offer decent electric range, impressive economy in the hybrid, along with decent daily running costs.

We will update the exact performance details, along with what engines the hybrid versions will feature, in due course.

Charging
