Introducing the Fiat Fiorino

Fiat Fiorino Driving Rear

First introduced back in 2008, the Fiat Fiorino is the smallest van in the Fiat Professional range, sitting below the Doblò, Scudo and Ducato.

With customer buying habits always changing, and with cities getting tighter, the need for a compact yet practical van became apparent.

And, with Fiat's reputation for building fine city cars like the chic Fiat 500, the Fiorino made perfect sense to complement the overall range.

Payload and Capacity

Keeping things simple, the Fiat Fiorino is available in one size.

The Fiat Fiorino has an overall length of 3,957mm, with a width of 1,716mm and a height of 1,721mm.

This ensures a cargo volume of between 2.5 and 2.8m3 (larger figure indicates passenger seat folded) with a total payload is 610kg.

Extra practicality is achieved by the Fiat Fiorino having two useful sliding side doors, along with two rear opening doors too.

Whilst folding the front passenger seat can also boost overall space and practicality.

The Fiat Fiorino may be a tiny and compact van, but it offers a clever solution to accessing and making the most of its space.

Technology and Safety

Fiat Fiorino Interior

The Fiat Fiorino is a simplistic entry-level van in the Fiat Professional range, with a basic yet functional interior. It mirrors older Fiat passenger cars with its simplistic charm.

Analogue dials, and a simple infotainment set-up are the interior vibe, and there's plenty of adjustment in the seats and set-up to get comfy.

As standard, the Fiorino gets a ladder bulkhead, electronic stability control, remote locking and a radio with MP3 capability.

If you go up the range, you can take advantage of enhanced technology and safety features, with a 5.0-inch touchscreen, reverse parking sensors, air conditioning, cruise control and front fog lights.

Engines and Performance

Fiat Fiorino Driving

To carry on the Fiat Fiorino's simplistic nature, there's only one engine option.

It comes in the form of a 1.3 MultiJet diesel engine, which produces 79bhp, which is ideal for its tiny proportions.

Naturally, it offers decent fuel economy with up to 65mpg possible, with a combined consumption of circa 55mpg.

It's a front-wheel drive set-up, with a manual gearbox, and two front seats, again keeping things simple. Being a diesel, there is sufficient torque to help carry things in the Fiorino's load area.

As you'd expect, performance is ideal for tight city streets, with parking and manoeuvring being simple too.
