Introducing the all-new DS 4
Combining two desirable bodystyles, the Coupé SUV and the compact hatchback, the DS 4 exhibits a sophisticated and compelling design.
Available as either DS 4, DS 4 CROSS or the DS 4 PERFORMANCE LINE, you can choose between a petrol or diesel engine as well as the DS 4 E-TENSE, which is a plug-in hybrid (PHEV) model.

Design and Practicality
Sharp and elegant exterior looks with a classy, plush interior; the DS 4 is impressive from all angles. Its design elements are bold and unique, setting it apart from other models on the road.
This stylish vehicle isn't all about looks though, practicality and comfort were clearly a key focus during the design stages of this premium car.
Despite being considered an amalgamation of a traditional hatchback and a Coupé SUV, the boot's loadspace of 430 litres is impressive for a vehicle of this size. Plus, the powered tailgate is hands-free opening; making loading much simpler.
Each of the three variants have a different aesthetic. The core DS 4 model is mainly focused on elegance, whereas the DS 4 CROSS aims to look more SUV-like and exclusively gets the option of Advanced Traction Control. Finally, the DS 4 PERFORMANCE LINE has a more dynamic look with a Black Pack.
Technology and Safety
Keeping the driver's eyes on the road with minimal distractions within the cabin is the main target in the digitally-focused interior of the DS 4.
DS EXTENDED HEAD-UP DISPLAY projects vital driving information onto the windscreen using an optical illusion, so the driver's full attention is still focused on driving safely.
Featuring a new infotainment system called DS IRIS SYSTEM, occupants can use their voice or gestures to control the system, thanks to the incorporated personal assistant, as well as the 10-inch display screen.
A single hand movement can enable access to one of six favourite shortcuts on the DS SMART TOUCH, which is conveniently located close to the driver's hand; again causing minimal distraction.
Powertrains and Performance
Options aren't limited when it comes to selecting from the wide range of efficient powertrains.
The two petrol engines available are the 1.2-litre PureTech 130 automatic and the 1.6-litre PureTech 180 automatic. Alternatively, there is the 1.5-litre BlueHDi 130 automatic version. All of these engines are mated with an 8-speed automatic gearbox.
A plug-in hybrid model is also on offer, which is powered by a combination of a turbocharged 178bhp 4-cylinder petrol engine and a 108bhp electric motor to deliver a total power output of 222bhp. The DS 4 E-TENSE can be driven in pure electric mode for more than 30 miles (WLTP combined cycle), without producing any tailpipe emissions.
Unlike other PHEV models, the DS 4 E-TENSE's boot space isn't compromised due to the electric technology.
Charging
Using a 7kW accelerated charger, the DS 4 E-TENSE can be charged from 0 to 100 percent in just under 2 hours. To charge from a domestic 2.3kW charging point, it would take just over 7 hours to be fully charged.
The accelerated charging points can be easily installed in your home, and with the charging cable coming as standard with the DS 4 E-TENSE, you can take advantage of faster charging in no time. There are also numerous charging points across the country to offer this speedy charging option on the go.
