Design and Practicality
With the sculpted lines that complement the newly designed lighting signature and grille, the update on the vehicle’s exterior appearance accentuate the SUV-Coupé styling, which compliments the sunroof made of darkening glass.
The seats were recreated to provide an exclusive experience to driver and passengers through a sporty design that optimises back support and comfort. Passengers will benefit from the arm rest located on the rear seats that are wide enough to hold entertainment devices and are equipped with a couple of USB plugs for convenient charging for those devices.
There’s plenty of storage room available in the boot. With a capability of holding 647 litres, it’s possible to store large pieces of luggage and other equipment at the same time.
Technology and Safety
Equipped with the most up-to-date technology, Renault prioritised an intuitive and easy to use infotainment system that is compatible with smartphones. With more than 50 pre-installed applications that can be accessed on the 24-inch touchscreen display, the brand’s OpenR system provides an exclusive navigation experience.
The vast range of apps that come built-in on the OpenR will make pairing your phone to the vehicle an easy task. Allowing quick connection to apps already in use in your smartphone, such as Google Maps and Waze.

Engines and Performance
Available with an automatic gearbox, there are two options of powertrains: full hybrid and plug-in hybrid.
The E-Tech full hybrid is equipped with a 3-cylinder 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine that has 202bhp and a 50kW motor. With a range of up to 683 miles and fuel efficiency of up to 58.9mpg, this version can sprint from 0 to 62mph in 8.9 seconds.
For those seeking maximum efficiency, the 4x4 plug-in hybrid uses the same 3-cylinder 1.2-litre engine but pairs it with three electric motors to deliver a combined 295bhp. Up to 65 miles of all-electric range is achievable, which is plenty enough for most daily commutes, while the petrol-powered engine kicks in when range is running low to carry you to a combined range of up to 620 miles.
Charging
The E-Tech full hybrid is equipped with a self-charging electric battery that uses regenerative braking to recharge itself on the move, meaning you don't need to worry about plugging it in to charge.
Plug-in hybrid variants on the other hand will need plugging in to recharge the batteries, but this is hardly inconvenient. Various home charging solutions are available for convenient and cheaper charging, while public charging stations can also be leveraged whilst out and about. The My Renault app furthers your experience too, allowing you to keep up-to-date with available charge and schedule charges for moments of downtime. Should you run out of charge on your battery, the traditional engine will kick in, allowing you to seamlessly continue your journey.
