Engines and Driving Experience

Diesel engines are the most common in Partner Tepee models. These tend to be either a 1.6-litre HDi or 1.6-litre BlueHDi with varying levels of power, ranging from 75bhp up to the most powerful 120bhp version. Strong economy of around 68mpg is possible from these engines.

There is also a 1.6-litre petrol engine, with either 100bhp, 110bhp or 120bhp. A more efficient 1.2-litre engine became available more recently, with 110bhp. This was slightly quicker and more economical than the old 1.6-litre, with the 1.2-litre able to return 55mpg, which is 11mpg more than the old 1.6-litre.

To drive, this compact MPV has a nice trait of driving like a more conventional hatchback, and considering its work-horse people moving capability and age, it's quite comfortable too.

Practicality and Running Costs

The Partner Tepee is hugely practical and versatile with excellent benefits. One of which is the massive boot, with 640 litres of space, increasing to a colossal 2,800 litres, with the rear seats removed - creating a van-like load space.

It's worth noting if you do opt for seven seats, boot capacity is reduced to 100 litres, but even having the choice of seven seats in a compact MPV is a great feature, as are the rear sliding doors.

Interior, Technology and Safety

The interior of the Peugeot Partner Tepee is more about slick functionality than out-and-out style. This is from an older generation of Peugeot models, with the brand now heavily focused on style.

This is certainly not a negative however, as the Partner Tepee is more about a no-nonsense approach to getting the job done of moving people with ease and without fuss.

Interiors are comfortable and quiet, with later models getting a smart central infotainment screen. Instrument clusters are analogue but are simplistic and neat.

All Partner Tepee models come with ABS with electronic brake assist, driver and passenger airbags, along with side and curtain airbags on higher-spec models.
