Evans Halshaw Kia Stourbridge is mixing things up this year as a headline sponsor for the free-to-view online charity Woo Fest virtual music festival.

Woo Fest is a multi-genre music festival for all ages that raises funds for St Richard’s Hospice in Worcester. Usually staged near Upton upon Severn, it has gone from strength-to-strength since its launch in 2015, raising more than £71k for the Hospice.

100 per cent of Evans Halshaw Kia Stourbridge’s donations as headline sponsor will go directly to providing care for over 3,400 patients and their loved ones across Worcestershire via the Hospice.

The festival will take place on Saturday, 19 June as a free-to-view online virtual festival experience. Radio presenter Hursty will present the festival live from the studios at DRPG, with viewers able to watch stunning live performances and fantastic pre-recorded videos from all over the world.

Artists performing for the event include Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Toyah Willcox, Danyl Johnson, Andy Bennett (formerly of Ocean Colour Scene), Drifta, Chimp on a Bike and many others.

The free-to-view, but donation welcoming, event allows people to enjoy the music festival from the comfort of their own home. More information can be found online at http://woo-fest.com/.

Tom Hedges, Dealer Principal at Evans Halshaw Kia Stourbridge comments:

“This is a great festival with great music and all for a noble cause too. We’re delighted to sponsor this year’s event that should be enjoyed by many more people than the usual Woo Fest thanks to this year being a virtual event. We’re looking forward to enjoying the music and spreading a bit of cheer.”

With a COVID-secure showroom full of brand-new Kia cars, ranging from the perfectly formed Kia Picanto to the family-friendly Sportage or electric Soul EV, the team is inviting customers to get to know the range and take a fully sanitised test drive in one of the latest models.

Donations to St Richards Hospice are encouraged. You can text CARE to 70140 to donate £15, call 01905 958 273 on the day, or visit www.strichards.org.uk/donate/virtualwoo to make a donation.
