Despite being Chinese, JAECOO branded vehicles are not sold in China, and are specifically for Europe and other international regions. JAECOO, like sibling brand OMODA, are selected and adapted from Chery's range of models, already sold in the Chinese market.

JAECOO only launched at the start of 2025 in the UK, with the first models being the JAECOO 7 which is a premium SUV, followed by the more compact JAECOO 5.

To give you an idea of size, the JAECOO 7 takes on the likes of the Kia Sportage, Hyundai Tucson and Nissan Qashqai, whilst the JAECOO 5 competes against the Ford Puma and Jeep Avenger.
