Design and Practicality
A bold and dynamic road presence coupled with a luxurious, driver-oriented and versatile interior makes the all-new KONA a brilliant addition to the Hyundai range.
This generation of the KONA has been made larger, increasing by 150mm in length to provide maximum interior space for passengers. The cabin space is an intelligent mix between practicality and style, with versatility being a key design element.
There are some variations in styling across the different powertrains available. The EV option is very tech focused, with pixel-inspired design details on the grille, rear bumper, and alloy wheel design. Both the ICE and HEV designs feature a bold and robust bumper along with black wheel arch cladding. The N Line on the other hand offers a sporty feel to the all-new KONA, with an aggressive front and rear, wing-type spoiler, and distinctive 19-inch alloy wheels.
Technology and Safety
Technology is a plenty in the all-new KONA with a variety of features and equipment to explore. The 12.3-inch dual wide displays, coupled with the floating module, give the dashboard a real high-tech feel to it.
User experience within the KONA is enhanced with ambient lighting throughout. The interior layout has also been made incredibly convenient, with the gear selector being moved from the centre console to behind the steering wheel. This results in a cleaner layout as well as more space for your possessions within the central tunnel.
The all-new KONA is also the first Hyundai model with a Pixelated Seamless Horizon Lamp at the front of the vehicle, adding to the distinctive character of this tech-centric vehicle. The pixel theme is continued in the EV variant, with Parametric Pixels used to make the design even more appealing to the tech lovers.
Engines and Performance
The all-new KONA comes in a variety of powertrains, from all-electric and hybrid electric, to a traditional internal combustion engine (ICE). A sporty N Line trim will also be available for drivers that want that punchy, performance-focused experience in the all-new KONA.
This model originally started as an EV design which was then adapted to accommodate a traditional engine, making it a tech-driven and unique model, capable of incredible performance.
