Pairing the vehicle with the MyVauxhall app also offers seamless connectivity, allowing you to adjust settings such as cabin temperatures remotely.
Design and Practicality
The Vivaro Life Electric is full of clever features to make your life that little bit easier. Take the doors for example - both the side doors slide open electronically (on Elite models) and the rear tailgate window opens independently from the rest of the boot door, giving you easy access to your luggage.
There's both medium and long versions, depending on your requirements, and you can choose between five seats and a big boot or a full three rows of passenger seating. Whichever configuration you choose, you can be sure that all occupants will have plenty of space when travelling.
Boot capacity tops out at 4,500 litres on larger models and it's also capable of pulling braked loads of up to 1,000kg. For large families who love to day trip, there aren't many cars that will trump the ultimate practicality of the Vivaro Life Electric.
Technology and Safety
There's two specifications to choose from. The entry-level Edition comes with tech such as cruise control and a DAB radio with Bluetooth connectivity, as well as a functional interior that can carry up to nine people.
The next step up is the Elite model, which comes with further features such as alloy wheels, a multimedia touchscreen infotainment system and a panoramic roof, enhancing refinement throughout whilst still being capable of carrying up to eight people.
The range of safety features on offer provide confidence while on the road, significantly reducing the risk of a collision. Equipment such as hill start assist, electronic stability control and ISOFIX mounting points come as standard across the range. Higher specifications offer the likes of blind spot alert, parking sensors and a reversing camera.
Range and Performance
The Vivaro Life Electric features an automatic transmission for seamless power delivery and three driving modes to suit various situations; Eco, Normal and Power. The result? An emissions-free driving range of up to 143 miles.

Powered by a 50kWh lithium-ion battery which is connected to a 136hp electric motor with 260Nm of torque, the all-electric MPV can accelerate from 0-62mph in 13.1 seconds.
Being all-electric, the Vivaro Life Electric has the ability to enter ULEZ zones free of charge. The owner will also benefit from the 8-year/100,000 mile battery warranty.
Charging
A 6-metre long Mode 3 cable is included with every Vivaro Life Electric and a single-phase 7.4kW On-Board Charger is fitted as standard. If you would like faster charging then a 3-phase 11kW design is also available.
Using a single-phase 32A domestic wallbox with the standard 7.4kW On-Board Charger, the Vivaro Life Electric will be fully charged in 7.5 hours; perfect for an overnight charge at home. However, opt for the 16A three-phase wallbox and 11kW On-Board Charger and your vehicle can be fully charged in a much quicker time of 4 hours 45 minutes.
The battery also supports the Combined Charging System (CCS) rapid charging at up to 100kW, enabling you to charge the MPV to 80% in just 30 minutes using a DC rapid charger connector.
