Introducing the new Vauxhall Grandland
The Grandland has been Vauxhall’s staple large SUV for a number of years now. Due to its excellent commercial success, the manufacturer is launching a brand-new version of the Grandland with several external and internal enhancements, as well as introducing a petrol hybrid and all-electric model.

These features were first seen on Vauxhall’s concept car, and have been perfectly added to this vehicle.
This new version is larger than the previous generation, increasing the cabin space, making the driver and passengers more comfortable with extra leg and headroom. The greater overall size also provides extra room for the boot, which is capable of holding 550 litres that can be extended to 1,641 litres with the rear seats folded down.
Technology and Safety
When it comes to technology, the new Grandland is a winner. Equipped with industry leading Intelli-Lux Pixel Matrix HD and combined with a camera, it’s possible to detect oncoming objects with higher precision than the previous generation.
The 16-inch infotainment system is intuitive to use and provides easy connectivity to smartphones, which is great for navigation and accessing previously saved addresses.

The hybrid model features a 136hp 1.2-litre turbocharged 3-cylinder petrol engine, paired with an electric motor and a new 6-speed dual-clutch transmission. The 48-volt mild hybrid system enhances efficiency, allowing for smooth transitions between petrol and electric power.
For those seeking a greater electric range, the plug-in hybrid offers up to 53 miles (WLTP) of zero-emissions driving before seamlessly switching to its petrol engine for longer journeys. The plug-in hybrid system provides strong performance while keeping fuel consumption low, making it a practical choice for both urban commuting and extended trips.
