The SsangYong Korando is a practical family SUV that's been designed to be a left-field alternative to models such as the Nissan Qashqai and Hyundai Tucson.
A popular choice is the 1.6-litre diesel engine that produces 134bhp. It's not fast by any means, but it can return up to 51.4mpg without too much trouble. It's also available with either two-wheel or four-wheel drive, and can haul a 2,000kg braked trailer in any specification.
