MINI Countryman Review
The MINI brand has grown significantly since the birth of the 'new' MINI hatch, first seen in 2001. The Countryman is the brand's crossover offering which offers interesting looks, a decent economy and the typical brilliant handling associated with the MINI brand.
Being from the BMW family, the model choice is good and prices start very reasonably whilst used versions hold their value rather well. Newer models have slipped into the SUV market and are much fresher and more attractive in appearance, as the first-gen model tends to be either hit or miss regarding the styling. Infotainment is good, especially in the newer models and a variety of engines both in petrol and diesel are available.
- Funky styling
- Frugal economy on particular versions
- Good servicing offers
- Typical MINI fun factor
- Good handling
