The Lexus RC is a 2-door, 4-seat coupé that offers sharp exterior looks and a smooth driving experience, making it a good option within the Lexus range.
Whilst not quite as dynamic as other well-known German rivals, the RC offers a ride that feels well-refined and composed. The most common powertrain is a 2.5-litre petrol-hybrid that produces 220bhp and a 0 to 62mph time of 8.6 seconds. There's a less-common, traditional petrol engine to be found, as well as a BMW M4-rivalling RC F variant that comes with a fruity 471bhp V8 engine.
The interior quality is what you'd expect from a Lexus; luxurious and very well-built. Entry-level facelifted models (late 2018 onwards) come generously-equipped with tech such as a 10.3-inch display and satellite navigation, whilst higher specifications offer a Mark Levinson® premium sound system and heated front seats.
Whilst it has space for four passengers, taller adults may find it a bit of a squeeze in the back. The RC's hybrid battery pack also limits boot space to 366 litres, which is less than what some rivals have to offer.
