Range and Performance
The Peugeot 5008 Plug-in Hybrid offers a total of 195bhp from its engine and electric motor combination. This is also mated to a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission for slick and effortless gear changes. The plug-in hybrid set-up also offers up to 48 miles of electric range, making it ideal for tackling congested cities with ease. It also performs well too, with 0 to 62mph taking just 8.3 seconds.
Alternatively, the fully-electric E-5008 offers a zero-emission powertrain, which offers three battery options with varying power. These are a 73 kWh or 97 kWh, as well as a dual motor 73 kWh. These produce 211bhp, 228bhp and 321bhp respectfully.
This also translates into some decent mileage and performance figures, too. The 211bhp offers 310 miles combined, and 0 to 62mph in 9.7 seconds, whilst the 228bhp version offers up to 414 miles on a combined cycle, and 0 to 62mph in 9.6 seconds. The fastest though, is the dual motor with 321bhp, it can offer up to 289 miles but despatch 0 to 62mph in just 6.5 seconds.
Charging
The plug-in hybrid and electric versions of the Peugeot 5008 can accept multiple charging methods, and can be adapted to suit your set-up and lifestyle.
In terms of the plug-in hybrid version, charging can be in as little as 30 minutes for charging from 10 to 80 percent. The E-5008 is similar, but has a bigger range being electric, seeing 10 to 80 percent in 36 minutes.
