Design and Practicality

Peugeot e-2008

The new 2008 features a more upmarket and handsome design, which cements its SUV DNA.

A wider front end, featuring the new Peugeot shield, along with independent trim and model choices which feature slight tweaks to give the 2008 a true SUV identity.

The new 2008 also adopts the latest Peugeot light signature (first seen on the new 508) which comprises the three vertical light claws. This design is also evident on the rear of the new 2008, along with LED reversing lights and indicators for an ultra-clean and modern look.

What's more, the new E-2008 has a unique motif to identify its electric nature, whilst the PEUGEOT name now runs along the entire boot lid.

Interior and Technology

Updated for the new 2008 is the stunning i-Cockpit featuring i-Connect, Peugeot's sleek infotainment and instrument set-up. It looks even more crisp in this enhanced version and now comes as a 10-inch central touchscreen, as standard.

There's also a 10-inch digital instrument cluster, which is upgraded to a 3D version on GT models.

Safety is also cutting-edge, with many driver assistance features, complemented by Advanced Grip Control - offering three additional drive modes ideal for challenging conditions thanks to its 'Sand, Mud and Snow' settings. Elsewhere, regular safety features include:

  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Automatic Emergency Braking
  • Traffic Sign Recognition
  • Lane Keeping Assist
  • Driver Attention Alert
  • Blind Spot Monitoring

From 2024, the new 2008 will be available with a new 48V Hybrid powertrain, offering fully-electric driving alongside the 1.2-litre PureTech petrol engine for more conventional driving.
