At home on an 11kW wallbox — the recommended setup — the 53kWh battery charges fully in around five and a half hours, and the 77.4kWh long-range battery in around seven hours, making overnight charging a simple and obvious routine for most.
The IONIQ 6 also supports Vehicle-to-Load (V2L) technology. This means the car's battery can power external devices — anything from a laptop to an electric bike — just using a standard plug. A small detail, but an important one for many owners.
