Introducing the Ford Tourneo Connect
The All-New Ford Tourneo Connect has been completely overhauled for 2022, and will come with an improved interior design as well as the option for all-wheel drive.
Ford have designed the All-New Tourneo Connect to be as versatile as you need it to be. Whether you spend a lot of time taking part in leisure activities, or you want a family car that offers excellent practicality, the All-New Tourneo Connect can easily accommodate you.
With up to seven seats available alongside two different body lengths, the All-New Tourneo Connect can be tailored to your needs and requirements.
Joining the versatile interior are an efficient range of engines and driver aids, which you can learn more about below.
Design and Practicality
The All-New Ford Tourneo Connect is available with either five or seven seats, depending on what your needs are. If you opt for seven seats then you can fold the second and third row of seats down to create a spacious area for work or sports equipment.
Ford will also offer the All-New Tourneo Connect in two different body lengths: short-wheelbase (L1) and long-wheelbase (L2). By removing the rear seats you'll have up to 3.1 cubic metres of space in the L2, and up to 2.6 cubic metres in the L1; ideal for transporting bulky and cumbersome items.
Similar to other vehicles in the Ford range, the All-New Tourneo Connect is available as an 'Active' variant. This particular version benefits from increased ground clearance and protective body cladding.
Technology and Safety
To make life easier when driving, the All-New Tourneo Connect features a user-friendly 8.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system as standard. You can also choose to specify a larger, 10-inch screen on any model should you wish; although this is standard fit on higher-spec Titanium, Sport and Active variants.
The All-New Tourneo Connect will be compatible with the FordPass app, too. This useful app allows you to check vital information about the vehicle, such as where you parked, whether it's locked or unlocked, and your average fuel consumption. It can even provide you with a useful vehicle health report, which is handy for keeping on top of maintenance.
A host of driver aids and safety features are on offer, including the following:
- Pre-Collision Assist with Automatic Emergency Braking and Forward Collision Warning
- Driver Alert
- Hill Start Assist
- Front and rear parking sensors
- Lane Keeping System
Engines and Performance
For the first time ever, the All-New Tourneo Connect will have the option of all-wheel drive on models fitted with the most powerful version of the 2.0-litre EcoBlue diesel engine.
In addition to the 6-speed manual gearbox that will be fitted as standard, the All-New Tourneo Connect will be available with a PowerShift automatic transmission for maximum efficiency and refinement.
As well as the diesel engine mentioned above, the All-New Tourneo Connect is available with a sole petrol engine and another diesel option, which we've highlighted below.
- 1.5-litre EcoBoost: Produces 114bhp and returns between 37.6 and 44.8mpg (CO2 emissions range between 144 and 170g/km).
- 2.0-litre EcoBlue: Produces 102bhp and returns between 51.3 and 61.4mpg (CO2 emissions range between 126 and 145g/km).
- 2.0-litre EcoBlue: Produces 122bhp and returns between 46.3 and 58.8mpg (CO2 emissions range between 126 and 159g/km).
