Engines and transmissions
Being electric, there is no engine, instead the Explorer uses an all-electric powertrain consisting of an electric motor and battery combination, with a fully-automated transmission.

As standard, the Explorer is a practical 5-door, 5-seat model.
Model variants
On the Motability scheme, you can choose either a 'Select' or 'Premium' specification. Both come with the 77kWh battery, meaning they produce 282bhp and can complete 0 to 62mph in 6.4 seconds. Select versions can return up to 374 miles, whilst Premium models can return up to 354 miles, when looking at range possibilites.
