Small and efficient petrol engines are the most common in the range, although you can also find diesel variants too. These happen to offer the most efficiency from their 1.5-litre, 100bhp engines, with up to 67mpg possible.

The 1.2-litre petrol offers the most punch with 108bhp, dropping the 0-62mph time to just over 9 seconds, whilst other engines in the range take between 10 and 12 seconds. The 1.2-litre petrol can return almost 50mpg too.
