Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Kilmarnock Partners with Kilmarnock FC Community Trust

Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Kilmarnock are delighted to have partnered with the Kilmarnock FC Community Trust.
The Kilmarnock FC Community Trust was founded to provide a wide range of sporting activities to the Ayrshire community. They operate a variety of sporting programmes to encourage people of all ages to socialise, get involved with football and learn more about living a healthy lifestyle.
Evans Halshaw have donated a van until August 2022, helping to alleviate the transport issues faced by the Trust and allow the team to transport equipment to sessions across the county. Associates from Evans Halshaw Vauxhall have also been involved with operations including the delivery of hampers to local families.
Paul Di Giacomo, Interim Head of Academy at Kilmarnock FC, commented;
“The van allows the Football Club & staff the opportunity to engage with all ages and stages within our community and bring kit and equipment along safely and hassle free.
We visit the local schools daily, delivering various educational programmes and in the evenings, we have our physical wellbeing classes.
Some of our young community staff don’t have access to a car, so for Evans Halshaw Vauxhall Kilmarnock to lend us a van has been amazing and allows our team to get around our community.
Essentially it just makes life easier for us operationally day-to-day.”

We had meetings with Paul and Greg at Kilmarnock FC who made us aware of the transport issues they were facing and the impact this was having on their community outreach programme. We were more than happy to get involved and hope that by supplying the van, the team at Kilmarnock FC can continue their vital work in our community.”
