Based on Kia's E-GMP.S (Electric Global Modular Platform for Service) the PV5 offers enhanced space, durability, modular flexibility and structural safety.

Design and Practicality
Kia have taken the textbook van shape and given it a properly futuristic and unique vibe, with integrated lighting, sleeker upper body and a lower stance.
A three-bumper not only looks modern, but also helps reduce repair time and maintenance costs if it was to get damaged.
In terms of practicality, the PV5 Cargo offers:
- Cargo Height - 1,520mm
- Cargo Width - 1,565mm
- Cargo Length - 2,255mm
- Loadspace Behind Bulkhead - 4.4m3
- Rear Loading Height - 419mm
That equates to being able to carer for two euro pallets, along with a 790kg payload for standard range models, or a 690kg for long range models.
There's also a maximum braked trailer weight or 450kg for standard range models and 750kg for long range models.
Technology and Safety
Interiors feature a cutting-edge digital vibe, with a 7.5-inch driver display screen (digital instrument cluster) along with a 12.9-inch touchscreen central navigation - these are both standard on the entry-level Essential trim and enhanced Plus trim.
Over-The-Air Functionality means that your PV5 Cargo is effortless in staying up to date, allowing your van to never feel outdated when it comes to technology.
And, as for safety both Essential and Plus trims come with the following safety features:

Economy and Performance
As the Kia PV5 Cargo is fully-electric, the power is presented via an electric motor and battery combination. This ensures a smooth and near silent operation, aiding comfort and adding to the refinement.
There's a 51.1 kWh short range version, along with a more powerful 71.2 kWh long range variant. The short range offers 120bhp, whilst the long range is more powerful with 161bhp.
Both versions feature a 1 speed fully-automatic transmission, with the standard PV5 Cargo returning up to 184 miles of range. This is enhanced in the long range version, which offers up to 258 miles of range.
Charging
Charging will vary depending on chosen set-up, but the Kia PV5 Cargo is available with ultra-fast charging, meaning 10 - 80 percent can take less than 30 minutes.
