The new N°7 is a plush tourer designed to transport families and friends, and is aimed at drivers who love the more refined features in cars. It arrives brimming with standard equipment and smart tech, sitting below the larger DS N°8 in the series, and above the smaller DS N°4.
Design and Practicality
Although the N°7 lands with a practical mid-sized SUV shape, DS has sculpted the look, adding lots of aerodynamic lines such as a slightly sloping rear roof and refined lines. It also has lots of DS DNA throughout, like the illuminated grille, V-shaped daytime running lights, and rear light blade, making the DS N°7 a very good-looking and imposing presence on the road.
Inside, the DS N°7 radiates comfort and style, with lots of plush detailing such as watchstrap-finish Nappa leather paired with aluminium or real wood trim. Heated, ventilated, and massaging seats up front allow the driver and front passenger to travel in comfort, while the spacious back seating with plenty of leg and head room, plus a height-adjustable floor, creates an equally accommodating space for those in the back.
Its 560-litre boot ensures the DS N°7 can hold plenty of family luggage on longer road trips, and is equipped with a two-position boot floor so that when the rear seats drop, there is a flat surface in its 1,570 litres of space.
Technology and Safety
Similar in interior design to its larger sibling, the DS N°7 features a large 16-inch central infotainment with DS' Iris 2.0 system, which incorporates AI, voice control, and control over the N°7's technologies and features.
It has lots of advanced technologies integrated into its frame. This includes DS Active Scan Suspension, which monitors the road surface and adjusts the suspension accordingly for a smooth ride, and DS Night Vision, which uses an infrared camera to spot pedestrians and other heat sources at night.
DS Drive Assist 2.0 keeps the N°7 in its lane while adjusting the speed to traffic conditions, and also monitors speed signs with its predictive function, adapting to speed restrictions and road types for a safer drive.
Engines and Performance

The DS N°7 has one hybrid and several all-electric powertrains, known as the DS N°7 E-Tense, available. The self-charging hybrid powertrain features an efficient 1.2-litre turbocharged petrol engine matched with a 21kW electric motor. This blended combo delivers a smooth 143bhp that glides the DS N°7 along with ease, and averages 53mpg with a combined 620-mile range.
What's more, when the N°7 decelerates, it regenerates battery charge and can switch to the motor for pure electric driving 50 percent of the time during city driving. For those who can't step into the full-electric realm, the hybrid variant offers an excellent balance of efficiency and performance.
