Is the Citroën C1 the right Motability car for you?
Well-known for its characterful appearance and nimble handling in the city, the C1 is a surprisingly practical compact car. It's available with either 3 or 5 doors and an easily accessible boot, with the parcel shelf lifting out of the way when the tailgate is opened. The boot is also a great size for a small car, with 780 litres of storage space when the rear seats are folded down.
The C1 also takes the stress out of tight manoeuvres with several driving aids available. These include a reversing camera to help with parking in tight spots, and hill-start assist, which holds the car steady for a couple of seconds on slopes.
Despite being very efficient, meaning it is inexpensive to run, the C1 is actually fairly punchy whilst you could see up to 79mpg on the open road, which becomes 68mpg on a combined cycle.
What versions are available?
Engines and transmissions
There is only one engine option with the C1, which is a 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine. The C1 is also only available with a 5-speed manual gearbox.
Only a 5-door C1 is available to order.
There are a few different variants of the C1 available with Motability. Each model is well equipped with air conditioning and height-adjustable driver's seat as standard.
