Away from sporty performance figures, the 595 achieves respectable fuel economy figures. You can expect around 35mpg combined, which is decent for a car of this nature.
Practicality and Running Costs
As you'd expect from a small city car, practicality isn't the Abarth's strongest suit. You will get 185 litres of boot space, which is enough for a few bags of shopping. Dropping the rear seats increases overall capacity to 550 litres if you need the extra space.
Climbing into the rear of the 595 is trickier than rivals, as it only comes exclusively with 3 doors. The interior may also feel a little cramped for taller occupants, especially when sat in the rear. You'll be able to choose from two bodystyles, however. The hatchback version is good fun, but it's the cabriolet that will put the biggest grin on your face during summer.
