Initially launched in its home country of Japan in 2007, Europe didn't get the Nissan GT-R until 2009.

The wait was worth it though, as the GT-R had crafted itself quite the reputation for itself, which included being able to embarrass much more expensive and exotic sports and even supercars.

This was due to the car's incredible performance, coming from a 3.8-litre twin turbo V6 engine, with all-wheel drive. 0 to 62mph times can drop as low as 2.7 seconds on the later models with 563bhp. Even early models with 471bhp could still do it in under 3.5 seconds.
