Rain Doesn’t Stop Play: Car Café Wolverhampton

Due to demand and the recent nice weather we've been having, Car Café decided to hold two car meets at the same time at different locations last weekend.

Unfortunately, the weather didn't hold out for us but there was still a great turnout for Car Café Wolverhampton and Car Café Wilmslow on 16th June 2018, between 8:30-10:30am. This article will focus on the action and cars which turned up at the Wolverhampton event.

Ford GT

With the meet taking place at Evans Halshaw Wolverhampton Ford, car enthusiasts could get up and personal to the brand-new Ford GT, set for release in the UK later this year.

The car was kindly lent to Evans Halshaw by Ford. It is not the complete version but gave enthusiasts the chance to get a sneak peak of what this next level supercar will be like.

Popular Fords

It came as no surprise to see a selection of Ford models on display too, with enthusiast customers joining in the Car Café car meet. These included a trio of the popular Fiesta ST sold from 2013-2017, including a standard, modified and special edition ST 200.

Each generation of the incredible Ford Focus RS from the Mk1 to the Mk3 were also in attendance, looking every bit as menacing with the wet conditions.

Performance BMWs

Elsewhere a stunning Yas Marina blue BMW M3 was joined by a black Nissan GT-R sporting similar private registrations. These modern-day performance legends were joined by some classic performance cars, such as a striking BMW Alpina C2 2.7 finished in white, with contrasting blue and green Alpina livery.

Porsche 911s

A pair of Porsche 911 models - kindly lent to Evans Halshaw by Stratstone Porsche Centre Wolverhampton - looked great sporting their Sportscar Together Day decals and were a welcome addition for petrolheads to get up close and personal to at the Car Café meet.

Lamborghini Huracan

Although the rain tends to put off the supercars, the Wolverhampton meet welcomed a stunning white Lamborghini Huracan to make it a worthwhile event for all the car enthusiasts who attended.
