Introducing the new Leapmotor B10
The third model released by Leapmotor in the UK, the B10 is a slick, compact SUV that sits under the larger Leapmotor C10.
Like its bigger sibling, the B10 will offer a generous amount of standard specification, with some features that you'd expect to find on much more expensive SUV models - this is seemingly a trait of all Leapmotor models.
With the popularity of SUVs still strong, this more compact model from Leapmotor allows potential for a newer type of buyer, and looks to ask those considering a compact SUV in this crowded market to strongly consider this neat and affordable SUV showcase.
Design and Practicality
The B10's design language is very similar to its larger C10 sibling, meaning that the overall vibe is that of sophistication, style, and attention to detail. It certainly won't look out of place in the competitive SUV market, standing out for the right reasons.
Practicality, too, as expected, is excellent, given its SUV body, meaning there is a generous amount of space for five occupants to enjoy, including the driver.
This is further backed up by a more than useful 420 litres of boot space, which increases to 1,415 litres with the rear seats folded, meaning larger items can be transported and taken care of if needed.
Interior, Technology, and Safety
Leapmotor B10 will feature a fully digital interior, comprising an upgraded and customisable digital cockpit, which will be powered by the Qualcomm 8155 platform, which is also paired with the Leapmotor operating system 4.0 plus.
This means driver and passengers can experience an immersive and intuitive in-car experience, like that of the C10 SUV. The interior is a clutter-free affair, and the mix of simplicity and sharp digital focus ensures for an attractive and clean interior presentation.
And, like other Leapmotor models, safety technology and kit will be impressive, and provide a specification of features which you would expect in more expensive vehicles.
Powertrains and Charging
There has been no official word on engines and performance as of yet, but being under the C10, it's likely the B10 will offer similar performance and electric motor choice, which will see it be more than competitive.
Charging will depend on your chosen set-up, with rapid and standard charging methods available.
This means you can charge the B10 overnight, or in as little as 20 minutes, which will give you around 80 percent of charge.
