Design and Practicality
Sleek yet muscular in its silhouette, the B05 is inspired by Leapmotor's 'Tech-Nature Aesthetic' which blends purity with power, which creates a visual expression that's both futuristic and grounded in urban style.
B05 features slick frameless doors which express the car's athletic DNA. This is further cemented with the use of large 19-inch 'Swift-Wing' alloy wheels which perfectly stance the B05, giving a confident aura.
Measuring 4430 mm in length, 1880 mm in width and 1520 mm high, along with a wheelbase of 2735mm, the B05 is engineered for impressive performance.
It looks to be beautifully practical too, with five doors as standard, with plenty of accessible interior space.
Interior, Technology, and Safety
As for technology and safety, no official details have been unveiled as of yet, but we expect the B05 to follow in the style of other Leapmotor vehicles, in offering fully-digital, state-of-the-art interiors.
And of course, technology is bound to be impressive with all the digital tech you could want with easy pairing to smart phones, along with multiple safety driver assist features on offer - mirroring the rest of the Leapmotor range.
Powertrains and Charging
With performance and dynamics being the expression of the Leapmotor B05's debut at the IAA Munich Motorshow, we also expect the B05 to offer performance that looks to impress.
Being electric, the B05 is set to offer decent acceleration, along with a refined driving experience, mirroring other Leapmotor models such as the B10, but as of yet there is no official word on power and performance details.
This is the same with charging, but we expect there to be rapid charging options, along with more traditional overnight/wall box charging options for home use.
