Charging
Charging the Junior Elettrica is designed to fit easily into everyday life. It is fitted with an 11kW on-board charger as standard, which is compatible with home wallbox installations. Industry data suggests that around 70 to 80 percent of EV charging takes place at home. For drivers of cars like the Elettrica, that means plugging in overnight and starting each day with a full battery — much like charging a smartphone.
When travelling longer distances, public rapid chargers offer a quick and practical solution. The Junior Elettrica supports rapid charging, allowing the battery to recharge from 10 to 80 percent in around 30 minutes when using a suitable charging station.
The car's infotainment system also helps drivers locate nearby charging points and monitor charging status remotely via the Alfa Connected Services app.
