Sell your car for more
When selling your car, it's in your best interest to spend a little bit of time ensuring that you can get the most money for it.
Here are some simple things you can do to maximise the value of your car.
Things you can do
Make sure it's clean
Cars are much more appealing when they’re sparkling. If we can see that your car has been kept in tip-top condition, we'll be able to offer the most money for it.
Servicing and MOT
Cars with a valid MOT of at least a few months are worth much more than a car that has an expired MOT. It simply shows that the car is in roadworthy condition. An up-to-date service schedule is important, too.
Top up your fluids
It's a good idea to make sure oil and coolant levels are as they should be anyway, but particularly so when selling your car. Make sure no warning lights are on, either.
Show off the paperwork
Your service history booklet as well as any vehicle owner's manuals and documentation, including the V5C (log book) should be kept in a secure place so you can bring them along to your valuation appointment.
