The BMW M8 Competition is the flagship model of the second generation (G15) BMW 8 Series range, which we first saw in 2018, with the M8 Competition coming along a year later in 2019. First generation (E31) BMW 8 Series models ran from 1990 to 1999. It was therefore quite a big deal when BMW decided to bring back the 8 Series after almost a two decade absence.
It's always been a pretty car the 8 Series, with a commanding road presence that's available as a regular Coupe, Convertible and a more practical Gran Coupe.
