Introducing the Peugeot Partner

Side of a Peugeot Partner

For over 20 years, the Peugeot Partner has been one of the best small vans for hard working professionals, who have appreciated its dependability and reasonable running costs.

The latest generation Partner builds on the foundations laid by its predecessors through a series of technological additions. It isn't just the latest driver aids that help the Partner maintain its place as a class-leading contender, because Peugeot's latest range of engines have also been made available.

Partner has been engineered with the best interests of your business in mind, which is why there are a number of different configurations that have been tailored to different professions. More on that below along with more details on the Partner.

Capacity and Loadspace

Cargo space of a Peugeot Partner

The first thing to note about the Partner are the two lengths available. The 'Standard' version is exactly as it sounds, with the ability to carry two Euro pallets and haul a payload of up to 984kg (model dependent).

On the other hand, you have the 'Long' version. Right up there with the best in the sector, the Long variant has a maximum load length of 3.44m.

Peugeot Partner is available in three different body styles, each having been designed with a specific type of profession in mind:

  • Asphalt - Additional creature comforts for countless hours on the road
  • Grip - Increased ground clearance, protective plates and enhanced grip.
  • Crew Van - Transport five people and haul an 850 kg payload. Simple.

Technology and Safety

Cabin of a Peugeot Partner

Van interiors are usually associated with the term 'functional', and 'basic'. This isn't the case with Partner, which boasts Peugeot i-Cockpit®.

The compact steering wheel gives you a dynamic driving experience, while the head-up display provides essential information in your line of vision. A welcome addition to the cabin is the 10-inch infotainment system, which offers features such as radio, sat-nav, phone calls, and vehicle settings.

A number of driver aids and safety technologies are available, which include:

  • Surround Rear Vision
  • Overload Indicator
  • Adaptive Cruise Control
  • Active Safety Brake
  • Blind Spot Monitoring
  • Trailer Stability Control
  • Dynamic Surround Vision

Economy and Performance

Back of a white Peugeot Partner

Vans of old were constrained to diesel engines, something Peugeot have changed thanks to the introduction of their PureTech petrol engines. Available with a 1.2-litre PureTech Turbocharge engine that produces 128bhp and an 8-speed automatic transmission.

If you still favour diesel-powered engines, you can opt for a 1.5-litre BlueHDi, which comes with two power output options — 98 bhp and 128 bhp — paired with a 6-speed manual transmission and an 8-speed automatic transmission, respectively.

There's also a fully electric version called the e-Partner, which offers an impressive electric driving range and rapid charging without compromising on load capacity.

Test Drive the Peugeot Partner

The Peugeot Partner is a fantastic all-round small van that is well-worthy of the awards it has won. With the ability to tailor the van to your business coupled with the efficient engines and clever interior, this light van is well worthy of consideration if you want a new addition to your fleet.
