The RS 6 is only available as an Avant, which is what Audi call an estate. This isn't a bad thing though, since it translates to a capacious cabin and luggage area.
With 565 litres at your disposal, the RS 6's boot is more than ample for anything family life can throw at it. Better yet, the rear seats will fold flat to reveal 1,680 litres of luggage capacity. ISOFIX anchor points feature as standard, so fitting a child's seat via the wide-opening rear doors is a doddle.
Unsurprisingly, the RS 6 occupies the highest insurance group (50) due to its value and performance. You should also budget more for consumables, such as tyres and brakes, since they will cost more than a regular everyday car.
